Serious fungal infections of the eye on the rise

Apparently soft contact lenses can lead to eye fungus. Who knew? Cases of Fusarium, a fungal infection of the eye that may have been related to Bausch and Lomb's ReNu MoistureLoc eye cleanser, are on the rise, according to an article in the Archives of Ophthalmology this month.
